Celebrating 40 years!

The Village Playhouse of Wauwatosa first opened its doors on August 3rd, 1978 with a production of Showboat.  Now, 40 years later, we will be opening Forty Carats on August 3rd, 2018.  Things may have changed a bit over the years (such as moving to West Allis and dropping the Wauwatosa from our name), but the spirit of this theater remains the same.   We are still, as we always have been, dedicated to producing top quality theatrical entertainment at an affordable price.

What better way to celebrate 40 years, than by getting back in touch with our friends who made our first season possible?  If you were involved in the Village Playhouse of Wauwatosa productions of Showboat (August 1978), Mary, Mary (November 1978), Night Watch (March 1979) or Cole Porter – It’s De-Lovely (April 1979), we would like to invite you to attend any play of our 40th Season, at no charge.   Email or call us to reserve your tickets.
