Our cast, crew and director are working hard to prepare for the state AACTFest competition. Join us for a preview performance Jan 14, 2023 at 4:00p and 7:30p at Interchange Theater, 628 N 10th St, Milwaukee. Admission is pay-what-you-will. The state AACTFest festival is January 20-22, 2023 at Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre. All proceeds go toward AACTFest expenses.
38th Annual Original One Act Festival-Submit Your Script
Village Playhouse is accepting submissions for the 38th Annual Original One Act Festival. Scripts must be unproduced as of January 31, 2023. This year's one act festival is being presented as part of World Premiere Wisconsin, a statewide festival celebrating original work.
All genres are welcome and run time should be between 10-45 minutes. Technical requirements should be minimal; in other words, if the play requires a multi-level box set and complex light and sound cues, it's not a good choice for the festival. Scripts must be submitted by February 21, 2023 via email to oneactfestival@villageplayhouse.org and an entry form completed.
