Mr. Popper's Penguins
was the Village Playhouse's 2009 traveling children's production. This
show travels to various locations in the metropolitan area. All
shows are open to the public with tickets available at the door.
(At the Lakefront Festival of the Arts the performance is free with
admission to the grounds)
The unexpected delivery of a large crate containing an Antarctic penguin
changes the life and fortunes of Mr. Popper, a house painter obsessed by
dreams of the Polar Regions. Adapted from the beloved children’s book,
this hilarious comedy is sure to delight children and adults and is
performed as a touring show. |
